Reach 4 the Wind – is an established sailing company run and owned by experienced sailors who are truly passionate about this great pastime. Our aim is to provide the - best possible sailing for all - from the novice sailor, family cruisers to the keenest of skippers and crew.

All our skippers are Commercial Yachtmasters, chosen not only for their outstanding sailing capability but also their ability to provide a professional and friendly atmosphere ensuring - Sailing at its very best.

Keith the principal of our RYA Training School, is a RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Instructor, qualified to instruct in addition to all our on water RYA Training, RYA First Aid, RYA/MCA SRC (VHF) Radio, RYA/MCA Sea Survival, RYA/ISAF Offshore Safety Course and all of the RYA shore based navigation courses.

Reach 4 the Wind is a recognised RYA Training Centre. We offer the complete range of RYA Cruising Courses including RYA Start Yachting Weekends, Competent Crew, Day Skipper and Coastal Skipper. In addition to our on water training we also provide at various locations around the UK RYA First Aid, Marine SRC (VHF) Radio, RYA/MCA Sea Survival, RYA/ISAF Offshore Safety Course and the new Basic Navigation and Safety course along with the Day Skipper and Coastal Skipper / Yachtmaster theory courses

We are more than a Training Centre and away from our UK based training courses we provide an extensive "Share-a-Yacht" programme, where you just sign up on a per berth basis and leave the rest to us. We have bases at Shamrock Quay, Southampton. Our main training boat in Southampton is "Reach 4 the Wind" our Sun Odyssey 35 (Ocean Village). Our yachts are ideal, very roomy yet easy to handle and maintained to the highest standard.

We provide the perfect corporate sailing experience for events such as Cowes Week, Round the Island Race, Marches Cup, Ramsgate Week and Little Britain Challenge Cup etc.
